Love has a magical way of bringing people together, and for Maesie and Jacob, their journey into the world of wedded bliss took on a truly enchanting twist at their Harry Potter Wedding. When their original wedding photographer had an emergency, fate intervened, and I had the incredible opportunity to step in and capture the spellbinding moments of their Harry Potter-themed wedding at the whimsical Soli-Tree Farms. I was very nervous walking into this day because unlike most of my couples, I had never had the opportunity to meet Maesie and Jacob. I walked into this day knowing almost nothing except for their names!

I was super thrilled when I walked in and saw that all of the decor was HARRY POTTER THEMED! I internally screamed with joy because Harry Potter is my absolute favorite. Jacob was even a Slytherin like me. It has been my dream since I became a wedding photographer to photograph a Harry Potter Wedding.

Despite not knowing each other, we all got along so well and I had such a fantastic time photographing their wedding day at Soli-Tree farms in Northern Kentucky. Maesie and Jacob were both incredibly friendly and welcoming to me and were so happy to have me there to photograph their wedding. Their friends and family were also some of the most invited people I have met. The whole day was just beautiful.

The Venue: Soli-Tree farms is a beautiful venue that I’ve had the opportunity to photograph 2 weddings at now! The venue overlooks the Ohio River and has beautiful views. The sunsets that you can see at this venue are beyond amazing! The inside of their event center building is also super pretty! It has white walls and lots of windows letting in a lot of beautiful natural light. This venue truly can be tranformed into so many different themes. Truly an amazing venue that I hope to get the opportunity to shoot at again!
