The Venue

Alright, buckle up, lovebirds, because The Spence Barn in Ohio is where rustic dreams become wedding reality. The Spence Barn offers a rustic and charming setting for couples seeking an authentic wedding experience. The weathered barn, adorned with vintage details, exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable celebration. The expansive grounds provide a beautiful backdrop for outdoor ceremonies, surrounded by nature’s beauty. Inside the barn, exposed beams and rustic elements create a cozy and intimate space for festivities.

I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in an editorial shoot at this venue last fall before they officially launched. Editorial shoots are a GREAT opportunity for wedding photographers to showcase the venue. The venue is owned by the sweetest family and has a very interesting back story. It was built in the 1800s! The Details

This venue could literally be any style you wanted it to be! We had such beautiful florals and decor in neutral tones and it really gave an elegant feel to the whole thing. We also had this delicious and beautiful grazing table. The perfect addition to any cocktail hour and surely to create some great wedding photos at The Spence Barn (you might find me sneaking away to grab a few bites in between photos)!

The Models

Anna and AJ were the sweetest couple ever! It was such a blast to get to know them and learn about their love story. It’s so funny because shortly after our mock wedding photos, they ended up getting engaged for real! The fields and foliage at The Spence Barn are a perfect backdrop for wedding photos.

Grace brought the fierceness for these solo bride portraits. I love getting a chance to experiment with new poses for my brides!

Stacia and Jesse were couple goals. You could tell that they literally just have the best time in their marriage. Also peek the donkey and the cow! These barn animals are more than happy to hop into your wedding photos at the Spence Barn.
